Happy Independence Day


The fourth of July is the day we celebrate our nation’s birthday. Even though it has become a day of fun, fireworks, and celebration, we should never forget that we are able to enjoy the benefits of freedom because of the sacrifices and foresight of our founding fathers to establish a democracy that has made America the greatest country on earth. Lately, we have seen our constitution and our democracy under attack. We must stay strong and most importantly, UNITED. We have to resist the urge to allow media and politicians to pit citizen against citizen, especially during this extremely trying and difficult year. Reflect on the reason for the holiday and be safe and try to love one another or at least exercise empathy and caring to your fellow Americans.
