JANUARY 2026 WRITING AND WANDERING #Newsletter

I hope everyone enjoyed the holiday season. I’m always a little relieved when it’s over, and we have a new year in front of us full of possibilities. 2025 was a year of intense contemplation and rediscovery. We’ve tried to simplify our lives including downsizing wherever we could, dealt with a few medical issues, and took a couple of great trips which I was actually able to relax on for the first time in a very long time. I’m not sure what 2026 will hold. I already know that it won’t all be roses, and I anticipate more changes, but I’m hopeful. I pray that those who have sought to destroy this country along with democracy can rediscover their goodness, and we can mend, heal, and move toward a society that is marked by kindness, empathy, opportunity, and freedom for all. WRITING The final installment in The Beartooth Chronicles, Winter Resurgence , was released in November 2025. I hope if you haven’t checked out the series you will do so. It is my best writing yet, as it should be a...

Happy 2025! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and your new year is starting out with a bang. This year has been a rollercoaster of emotions, making me more apprehensive than usual for the holidays. Fortunately, I was able to skip Thanksgiving so to speak, and Christmas turned out better than I had hoped. We were surprised and blessed to have family come to us this year, making it the best holiday in a very long time. A lot has happened in 2024, most of it not so good, but I’m optimistic that 2025 will be much better, and hope yours will be as well. WRITING The third novel in The Beartooth Chronicles, Isolated from Anarchy , was released in November 2024. Edits are well underway on the fourth novel, Evil Under the Mountain , and it looks like were on target for a February 2025 release. I also got exciting news from my publisher. There will be a book five in the series coming out later in 2025. I’ll share more info on that release as details unfold. If you still haven’t jumpe...

#JANUARY 2024 #Newsletter – HAPPY NEW YEAR

Image
I hope everyone’s year has started out with a bang. Mine has been a mixed bag, but I have faith it will get better. I have an epic adventure planned for later this month. More on that in my February newsletter. WRITING NOTES AND NEWS Refuge from the World (The Beartooth Chronicles, Book 1) is progressing nicely and is on scheduled to be released in mid-February 2024. The plan is for the next three novels in the series to be released every four to five months thereafter. So, if you love the first book, you won’t have to wait long for the second. While working on edits for the first four novels in my new dystopian-adventure series, I’ve finished the fifth novel in the Beartooth Chronicles. I continue to write and release Kindle Vella episodes (Links shown below under “Kindle Vella”), including a new cozy mystery, Alder Island. I’m also trying to grow my readers. If you aren’t already, I would appreciate any new followers to any of my social media platforms below. Thanks in advance....
