National Park #Free Entrance Day

Each year the National Park Service has a number of entrance fee-free days where all National Park Service sites that charge an entrance fee will offer free admission to everyone.  A couple have already passed, but here’s what’s left. August 25: The National Park Service’s Birthday September 26: National Public Lands Day November 11: Veterans Day

Who I Am

My first book was published in 1999. I can’t believe I’ve been writing for over twenty years. Sometimes the rapidly changing face of publishing and marketing makes me want to throw in the towel, but that’s easier said than done. After dedicating nearly every free moment of my time for over two decades it has become a part of who I am as much as what I do. I’m proud of my body of work and I believe that each project has evolved in the right direction. I can only hope that some piece of it has touched someone or at least provided an escape from the everyday by taking the reader on an exciting adventure. Thank you for sharing in my journey and I hope you will continue along for the ride for years to come. And, if you like my work, recommending it to others is the highest compliment you can give and is greatly appreciated. Cherish Your Country

“Here is your country. Cherish these natural wonders, cherish the natural resources, cherish the history and romance as a sacred heritage, for your children and your children's children. Do not let selfish men or greedy interests skin your country of its beauty, its riches or its romance.” ―  Theodore Roosevelt
