April Fool's Day

Image
I might as well lay this out up front. I’ve never cared for April Fool’s Day. Though tricks and jokes should be harmless and in good taste, so often they cross the line and make people feel bad, so generally I avoid the tradition altogether. But, to show I’m not a total stick in the mud, happy April Fool’s Day. Enjoy, but question everything and be kind to others

Prairie Dogs or Cold-Blooded Killers

Special Agent Devyn Nash wished Coterie was a group of prairie dogs occupying a communal burrow rather than a ruthless organization with the common mission of controlling a diet product industry worth billions. How far will this organization go and can anyone stop them? Find out in the Risky Research Series. The first novel in the series, A Dose of Danger , is set mostly where I grew up in Wyoming. With her colleagues either dead, missing, or on the run she must trust the deputy with her life, but can she trust him with her heart. In the second book, A Taste of Tragedy , a corporate executive discovers the healthy foods she’s been hired to promote may be dangerous placing her in the crosshairs of an organization that will stop at nothing to protect its secrets. Adventure Scrapbook – Loreto, Mexico

Image
Loreto is one of my favorite cities in Mexico. It’s located on Mexico’s Baja California Peninsula on the Sea of Cortez. Its colonial buildings and tree-lined cobblestone streets make this small city a joy to explore and the perfect place to sit back, have a margarita and hot homemade tortillas, and enjoy the scenery.

Adventure Scrapbook – Organic Mexican Coffee

Image
I've never thought of Mexico as coffee country, so I was surprised to find a darn good brew in San Sebastian del Oeste located at the foot of the Western Sierra Madre in West Jalisco. The best part of travel is discovering something new and interesting. I came for the tequila and left with the coffee.
