#Travel Adventure #Taglines

Image
A  tagline  is a short, memorable description that becomes identified with a product.  I always create one or two for each book or series I write. For example, the tagline for the Risky Research Series is:  How far will a deadly group go to control the diet product industry worth billions and can anyone stop them? While watching a travel show on Sicily the other night, several corny taglines popped into my head from my visits to this incredible island and I thought it might be fun to try and draft taglines of trips. Here's the first, and there may be more. Feel free to add your travel tagline in the comments. Two American’s linger outside a café in the narrow streets of Taormina enjoying a fresh cannoli, unaware if the smoking volcano in the distance is ready to blow.

Adventure Inspirations - A Special Knowledge

"To stand at the edge of the sea, to sense the ebb and flow of the tides, to feel the breath of a mist moving over a great salt marsh, to watch the flight of shore birds that have swept up and down the surf lines of the continents for untold thousands of year, to see the running of the old eels and the young shad to the sea, is to have knowledge of things that are as nearly eternal as any earthly life can be." - Rachel Carson -

Short Videos for Your Viewing Pleasure

I was recently looking at the YouTube video trailers that were made for some of my previously released books. I forgot how much I enjoyed them, especially the ones for Shrouded in Secrets and Big Horn Storm. I’ve downloaded them all on my Goodreads page, so if you would like to see these short videos they are all now in one spot. Here’s the link. Enjoy! https://www.goodreads.com/videos/list_author/849945.Kim_McMahill

Adventure Scrapbook – Necessity of the Human Spirit

“Wilderness is not a luxury but a necessity of the human spirit, and as vital to our lives as water and good bread. A civilization which destroys what little remains of the wild, the spare, the original, is cutting itself off from its origins and betraying the principle of civilization itself.” -Edward Abbey-
