April 2023 Newsletter

Since I generally post my newsletter on the first Friday of each month, I skipped right over April Fool’s Day (whew-not my favorite day). This newsletter coincides with Good Friday, followed by Easter on April 9. I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday weekend surrounded by friends and family. Happy Easter!

WRITING NOTES AND NEWS

My firs Kindle Vella, Professor of Lies (Renegades’ Redemption Book 1), wrapped up on April 2, but it is still available to read (link below). It was fun to write and well received, so I decided to go with a second season. Lessons in Deception (Renegades’ Redemption Book 2), which kicked off on April 2, so if anyone wants to jump right in, the first three episodes of the second story are available. New episodes will post every Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday.


In this second season, nearly five months had passed since Megan Warner helped her husband, Alex Volkov, elude Russian hitmen employed by his former boss and orchestrated her brother’s escape from the United States. Less than a month ago, she staged her own death. So far, things were progressing much better than she anticipated.

Now it’s time to rebuild. Making their way to Ecuador, Megan and Alex find a welcoming community and a fresh start, and she hopes her brother has found the same in Russia. Megan and Alex love their new life, but the lies and deception continue to haunt her and she fears that eventually their past will catch up to them and destroy their future.
