Celebrating the Summer Solstice 2022
The Summer Solstice is the meteorological start of summer and the longest day of the year. This year the Solstice falls on June 21. The sun does not set at the North Pole on this day, giving it 24 hours of sunlight; however, the amount of daylight only goes down from here. I do love long days and lots of sunlight, but I’m fine with living far south of the North Pole, it is possible to have too much of a good thing. Anyway, happy Solstice and enjoy the daylight.
