Fabulous #February
There are quite a few days recognized in
February. Some are a little silly like Feed the Birds Day. Others, like Ash
Wednesday are very significant as it is the first day of the Christian season
of Lent. During Lent, which lasts for 46 days, Christians fast and give up
things the like. Also significant is that 2020 is a Leap Year, which means February
has 29 instead of 28 days this year. Here’s a peek at a few of the days to
remember this month.
February 2 – Groundhog’s Day and Super Bowl Sunday
February 3 – Feed the Birds Day
February 12 – Lincoln’s Birthday
February 14 – Valentines Day
February 15 – Singles Awareness Day
February 17 – President’s Day
February 22 – Washington’s Birthday
February 25 – Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday)
February 26 – Ash Wednesday
February 29 – Leap Day (once every four years
February has an extra day)
