National Park #Free Entrance Day
Sunday, August 25, 2019 is an entrance-fee-free-day in
our National Parks. The National Park Service
was created on August 25, 1916, when President Woodrow Wilson signed the
National Park Service Act. Be sure to take advantage of this entrance-fee-free-day
and celebrate the National Park Service's 103rd
birthday. The
remaining entrance-fee-free days to keep in mind are as follows:
- Saturday, September 28
– National Public Lands Day
- Monday, November 11 –
Veterans Day
