St. Patrick‘s Day is a holiday honoring the Patron Saint of Ireland, who brought Christianity to Ireland. St. Patrick’s Day is a day to celebrate Irish history traditions, customs, and ancestry. No matter what your heritage may be, here’s an Irish Blessing for you.


May the Irish hills caress you.
May her lakes and rivers bless you.
May the luck of the Irish enfold you.
May the blessings of Saint Patrick behold you. 
May there always be work for your hands to do,
May your purse always hold a coin or two.
May the sun always shine warm on your windowpane,
May a rainbow be certain to follow each rain.
May the hand of a friend always be near you,
And may God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you.
