#Memorial Day Wishes

Memorial Day was originally called Decoration Day. It was changed to Memorial Day in 1882. The roots of Memorial Day observance go back to 1865 and the end of the Civil War. Memorial Day is officially celebrated on the last Monday of May each year. This day is dedicated to service men and women who are currently serving or who have given their lives for freedom and country. It is also a time to remember loved ones who have passed away.
I hope you take the time to remember loved ones lost and the service men and women who secure our freedom. I also hope you can share this day surrounded with friends and family. Have a wonderful and safe Memorial Day
