International Book Readers

I noticed this past quarter that my book sales to readers outside of the U.S. outpaced those within the U.S. So, I thought I’d take a moment to offer a special thank you to my readers and fans abroad. I can’t express how much I appreciate those who have taken the time to discover my work. I truly hope you enjoyed my stories of adventure, action, romance (light) and suspense and intend to give additional titles a try. Below I’ve provided links to my titles from Amazon U.K. and Canada, homes to some of my biggest fans. And, U.S. readers can find all my titles on Amazon here . This Month in History

This month holds a tragic statistic. On January 23, 1556 the deadliest earthquake in history hit Shansi, China, killing 830,000. On a much lighter note, on January 1, 1908 the ball was first dropped at Times Square in New York City, and on January 12, 1966 Batman debuted on television.

Great #Colorado Cultural Event

Image
For the second year in a row I’ve had the opportunity to attend the Colorado Indian Market and Southwest Showcase in Denver, Colorado. There were, by my estimate, over 350 exhibitors featuring an amazing variety of high-quality crafts and artwork. The paintings, leather work, pottery, stained-glass, and metal works, to name a few, were beautiful and unique, but what caught my attention this years was a beaded nativity set. I sadly didn’t add it to my nativity collection of over six sets from around the world. I have no doubt the number of hours invested in this magnificent work of art made it worth every penny of the asking price, but unfortunately it was a little out of my comfort zone. As much as we enjoy the art, though, the real reason I plan to return again next year is the stage entertainment. There were singers and dancers from a number of different tribes, including several Native American Music Award winners. Just the opportunity to see Brulé is worth the price of admiss...

Adventure Scrapbook – Havana #Cuba

Image
The only thing better than a day in Havana is a night in Havana. If you take a taxi, make sure you grab a classic American car. Cruising down the Malecón on the way to the Tropicana in a 1957 Ford Fairlane convertible felt like stepping back in time to another era. T he Malecón is a broad roadway and seawall which stretches for about five miles along the coast in Havana.
