A Traveler’s Perspective

Travel has the ability to change a person’s perspective on the world.  Experiencing different cultures, seeing in person the impacts of issues you hear about on the news, and making connections or new friends can deeply impact one’s views. I’ve been fortunate enough to have been able to see much of the U.S. and the world. I hope you have enjoyed my glimpses from around this country and around the globe. Travel has inspired and educated throughout history and will hopefully be available for many generations to come.

Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.
