Pre-Order #Bargain #Ebooks

My publisher has recently discounted a number of ebooks available for pre-order to just $0.99. These books will only be available at this price during pre-order. Once released the price will be raised to their regular retail price. Pelican Book Group publishes only Christian fiction and Clean and Wholesome fiction (under the Prism Book Group imprint), which is where mine fall. Anyway, if you’re interested in any of these titles check them out before release for a great bargain. I’m not sure of each book’s release date, so please check the price to be sure it’s still pre-order and still $0.99 before purchasing. Enjoy! The View from 14,000 Feet

Image
I finally made it to Pikes Peak just outside of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Despite some smoke from the fires burning in the state, the views were spectacular. I’m pleased to report that 14,115 feet in elevation didn’t seem to affect me much. It was truly a beautiful day!

Adventure Inspirations – Lose Yourself in Travel

“We travel, initially, to lose ourselves; and we travel, next to find ourselves. We travel to open our hearts and eyes and learn more about the world than our newspapers will accommodate. We travel to bring what little we can, in our ignorance and knowledge, to those parts of the globe whose riches are differently dispersed. And we travel, in essence, to become young fools again- to slow time down and get taken in, and fall in love once more.” - Pico Iyer -

An Awe-Inspiring Landscape

Image
I never get tired of the magnificent beauty of Yellowstone National Park. From the amazing geological features to the abundance of wildlife, there is n where else on earth that can compare to our first national Park. On a recent visit, aside from the scenic wonders, I saw three bears, dozens of elk and deer, and hundreds of bison and pronghorn. Between the scenery and the wildlife, a visit to Yellowstone is nothing short of an awe-inspiring experience.

Adventure Inspiration - Life without Gadgets

“Without the gadgets, the inventions, the contrivances whereby men have seemed to establish among themselves an independence of nature, without these distractions, to know wilderness is to know a profound humility, to recognize one’s littleness, to sense dependence and interdependence, indebtedness, and responsibility.” -Howard Zahniser-

Listening to a Novel

Image
A Taste of Tragedy  (Book 2 in the Risky Research Series) was just released in audio book format and is available through Amazon Audible. I was very excited for the opportunity to proof, that is listen, to the entire audio book before it’s published. I always read my work out loud many times before sending a manuscript to my publisher, but it is an entirely different feeling hearing someone else read your book. I thought the narrator did a great job and I was thrilled to learn she is the same narrator from A Dose of Danger  (Book 1 in the Risky Research Series), which is also available through Amazon Audible.

Adventure Inspiration - Fountains of Life

“Thousands of tired, nerve-shaken, over-civilized people are beginning to find out that going to the mountains is going home; that wildness is a necessity; and that mountain parks and reservations are useful not only as fountains of timber and irrigating rivers,  but as fountains of life.” -John Muir-

Happy 4th of July

I hope everyone has a wonderful July Fourth holiday surrounded by family and friends. Have fun, but most importantly, be safe.
