Adult and Young Adult Adventure Reads

Image
Adventure for the whole family. Though I originally wrote these two novels assuming they would be marketed toward adults, they are appropriate for young adults as well. Whether you enjoy contemporary western romantic thrillers set in the rugged remote mountains of Wyoming or a dystopian adventure unfolding in New Mexico, Texas and  Mexico, these two novels cover it all and can be downloaded from Amazon here for your Kindle for the price of one, if purchased individually. Enjoy!

Adventure Inspirations - #National Parks

Image
“There is nothing so American as our national parks. The scenery and the wildlife are native. The fundamental idea behind the parks is native. It is, in brief, that the country belongs to the people, that it is in process of making for the enrichment of the lives of all of us. The parks stand as the outward symbol of the great human principle.” - Franklin D. Roosevelt -

Series Video Trailer

As I’m sure many of you are aware, the third novel in The Risky Research Series, A Foundation of Fear, is scheduled to be released this summer. In anticipation of that exciting event my publisher has created a great book trailer. You can view it on YouTube here .

Adventure Inspiration - Preservation of the World

“The West of which I speak is but another name for the Wild; and what I have been preparing to say is, that in Wildness is the preservation of the World. Every tree sends its fibres forth in search of the Wild. The cities import it at any price. Men plough and sail for it. From the forest and wilderness come the tonics and barks which brace mankind.” -Henry David Thoreau-

Coaxing Life out of Seeds

Image
My favorite part of summer is my garden. I enjoy coaxing life out of seeds and cooking seasonally with the fruits of my labor. It isn’t always easy gardening at a mile high, but that makes the effort all the more rewarding. The garden has already survived a hail storm, brutal winds, and now heat in the mid to upper nineties. Despite that, I’m pleased with the progress.

New and Improved

My publisher has recently updated all of my book covers. I loved the originals, but the new ones may be even better and I can’t wait to get feedback on the new designs. Please take a moment to scroll down the right-hand side and feel free to leave a comment. Thanks for your continuing interest.

Adventure Inspirations - Winding Trails

May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds.   - Edward Abbey -
