Special Agent Devyn Nash wished Coterie was a group of prairie dogs occupying a communal burrow rather than a ruthless organization with the common mission of controlling a diet product industry worth billions. How far will this organization go and can anyone stop them? Find out in the Risky Research Series.
The first novel in the series, A Dose of Danger, is set mostly where I grew up in Wyoming. A researcher and her team discover a possible solution for weight loss; however, her unsanctioned testing methods bring tragedy to the family ranch and the attention of the local sheriff’s deputy and the FBI. With her colleagues either dead, missing, or on the run she must trust the deputy with her life, but can she trust him with her heart.
In the second book, A Taste of Tragedy, a corporate executive discovers the healthy foods she’s been hired to promote may be dangerous placing her in the crosshairs of an organization that will stop at nothing to protect its secrets. With no one else to trust, she must seek help from the man she drove away, but whom she never stopped loving.

Loreto is one of my favorite cities in Mexico. It’s located on Mexico’s Baja California Peninsula on the Sea of Cortez. Its colonial buildings and tree-lined cobblestone streets make this small city a joy to explore and the perfect place to sit back, have a margarita and hot homemade tortillas, and enjoy the scenery.

I've never thought of Mexico as coffee country, so I was surprised to find a darn good brew in San Sebastian del Oeste located at the foot of the Western Sierra Madre in West Jalisco. The best part of travel is discovering something new and interesting. I came for the tequila and left with the coffee.

March begins on Ash Wednesday, which is the first day of the Christian season of Lent. During the Lenten Season Christians give up something they like or that is important to them. The season lasts for 46 days. Other dates of note include March 8, which is recognized as International Women’s Day, the 15th are the Ides of March, the 17th is St. Patrick’s Day, and March 20 is International Earth Day. Also, keep in mind Daylight Savings, which begins at 2:00 a.m. on March 12 and the Spring (Vernal) Equinox on March 20.
